Is the meal plan vegan/vegetarian?

No, it does contain fish and meat, however half the recipes are vegan so you can pick and choose from the recipe section to make up your plan.

We are going to do a vegan and vegetarian meal plan so stay tuned.

Are Glow Guides Paleo/Ketogenic?

No, Glow Guides doesn't follow strict diet rules - rather it is full of whole nourishing foods. Please read the Munch 101s for more info.

Can I eat out during the 8-week programme?

Of course. Just stick to clean protein like fish, vegetables, or a nice salad full of whole grains. Avoid wheat, processed meat and refined sugar and you will be fine.

Can I eat chocolate?

Sadly not during the programme, however there are delicious healthy sweet snacks that should curb your chocolate cravings for good.

What if I'm pregnant?

I do not recommend the Glow Guides to women who are pregnant. It is best to consult with your doctor about exercise and nutrition. It is a great programme to do post-pregnancy but please consult your doctor prior to starting.

Can I drink alcohol?

Ideally over the 8 weeks you will give up booze; however if you can't go without you can have 2-3 drinks per week.

How much is it going to cost me per week?

Food for the meal plans costs around £40.00 per week for everything.

How long are the workouts and yoga classes?

They last 45-minutes, we made them short and efficient so they will fit in with your busy life.

Do I need a gym membership?

No, you can do everything at home by yourself.

Do I need any equipment?

All you need is a yoga mat, a resistance band and a bench. You can buy the essentials in the Glow Kit. If you can't get a bench you can use a firm sofa, an outdoor bench or sturdy chair instead.

What type of training will I be doing?

The workouts are based on timed circuits, using full body, compound movements to get you stronger and fitter at the same time. By using multiple muscle groups for each exercise you maximise on the effectiveness of your workout, in a short amount of time. Not only will you sweat up a storm but you will look, feel and BE stronger by the end of the workouts.

Don't forget to read the movement 101s and watch all videos.

I finished the programme: what do I do?

Keep eating the same way: you can use the recipes, meal plans, exercise videos to keep you on track. I'd stick to two workouts a week and two yoga classes a week if you can!

Can I do Glow Guides if I have allergies and intolerances?

Glow Guides is gluten free and dairy free, feel free to swap nuts to seeds if you have an allergy to them.

When will I see results?

This depends on the individual but usually within the first three weeks.

Can I adapt the programme to my busy schedule?

Totally, I recommend you to your exercise first thing to get it over and done with but you can do it whenever. I created this programme in app form so it fits in with your life and you have it with you at all times.

Purchases and Accounts

Do I have to pay to use the app?

If you want to follow the Glow Guides Transformation Programme, including access to all meal plans, recipes, videos, meditations, Madeleine's live streams, etc. you will need to buy purchase the programme for £49.99 to view all the content.

If you just want to chat with the Glow Community, read a selection of Madeleine's posts and buy the Glow Kit, you can keep using the App for free.

Posts and Content

Can I delete posts?

Absolutely, first go into the detail view of the post by tapping on the post's info banner which contains your username and number of likes etc. Once in the detail view, click the icon at the bottom left hand corner of the post and you will be given the option to delete your post.

Why can't I share some posts outside of the app?

There's a lot of exclusive content released in the app that's not available anywhere else. Anything that's exclusive can't be shared to make sure it's only available to users of the app.

Can I save favourite content to view again later?

At the moment this feature isn't available but we are currently working on a new and improved profile page section of the app which will allow you to see not only what you have liked but also what you have commented on or posted. This improved feature will be available in a release coming soon.

Can I print the PDFs?

For Apple devices, tap on the PDF to open it, tap the small Safari icon bottom right to open the PDF in safari. From there you can print from the share menu (tap the share button and tap Print).

For Android devices, Tap the PDF to open it in your PDF viewer. The way to print will vary depending on your PDF viewer but with Google PDF Viewer you tap the options icon at the top right and tap Print.

Friends and Messages

Can I add someone as a friend from the wall?

Yes you can. If you see someone on the wall you want to connect with, simply tap on their avatar - this will take you to their profile page which will have a button allowing you to send a friend request to them.

My Profile

How do I change my profile photo?

Go to your profile by tapping your name in the menu and tap your profile photo to change it.

How do I log out of the app?

To log out you can go to your profile page by clicking on your user name in the menu and then clicking 'Settings'. You will then see an option to log out.

Live Streams

How do I know if a live stream is happening?

If a live stream is about to happen you will receive a push notification to your phone letting you know. If you already have the app open a red banner will appear at the top of the screen alerting you that a live stream is either about to happen or is already in progress.

Can I watch the live stream full screen?

Absolutely, just rotate your device so that it is horizontal and the stream will go full screen. Rotate your app to the vertical position again to exit full screen and view and post comments.
